Dear Friends of the Waseca County Historical Society,

Our county’s history belongs to all of us. It lives in the stories of our families, the buildings that have shaped our communities, and the photographs, artifacts, and records that connect us to generations past. At the Waseca County Historical Society, we are committed to preserving that history and ensuring it remains accessible to everyone.

As we prepare for 2027, we are asking our community to help us raise $25,000 in essential operating support.

Every year, the Historical Society welcomes visitors, assists families researching their roots, cares for irreplaceable collections, and shares the stories that make Waseca County unique. We provide free museum admission because we believe access to local history should never depend on someone's ability to pay.

Behind these services is the essential work of maintaining our buildings, caring for collections, and supporting the dedicated staff who serve our community. While grants often fund specific projects, unrestricted donations help cover everyday expenses such as utilities, insurance, maintenance, and collections care.

Our $25,000 annual giving goal is an important investment in maintaining a stable organization and sustaining the services our community values.

We invite you to make a gift in any amount meaningful to you. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal and helps ensure that Waseca County's history remains preserved and accessible for future generations.

History is more than a record of the past. It is a shared inheritance, and preserving it is a shared responsibility.

Thank you for your generosity and belief in the importance of our local history.

With sincere appreciation,
